Veggie Burger Recipe

PLANT-BASED VEGGIE BURGER:

Grow your own vegetables and herbs at home using Earthfood and start experimenting with your own healthy treats from the garden. Here’s an easy option when you want something yummy and quick.

 

Ingredients:

½ medium brown onion roughly chopped

3 cloves garlic, chopped

2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained, divided or from your garden steamed

1 large egg

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley

2 tablespoons capsicum

2 teaspoons mild chili powder (optional)

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce or soya sauce

½ cup bread crumbs, or mashed cooked potatoes

salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 teaspoons of butter to cook in the pan

 

Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients together to make 6 patties, roll in home-made toast crumbs and cook in hot pan with the butter until heated through (around 6 mins).
